Dr, Robert Simpson

Rob has been has organized and led global business forums for the past 5 years. Additionally, he has traveled extensively to more than 35 countries where he witnessed both businesses which have been transformation and businesses that have destroyed people

Robert’s academic and professional work has focused on the creation and principles of business or social enterprise which create societal transformation. In his current role as Associate Provost at Cornerstone University he leads the Professional and Graduate Studies division where he launched an MBA with a global kingdom business focus. Additionally, Rob has been on the adjunct faculty staff at 4 universities.

Mr, Skot Welch

Mr. Skot Welch is Founder/Managing Partner of Global Bridge Builders a results focused organization comprised of a team of individuals with extensive experience ni the development and implementation of sustainable, process focused cultural competency, inclusion initiatives. Skot also served as Managing Partner for Diversity Management Strategists (DMS) a diversity consulting firm focused on the assessment, development and implementation of measurable diversity initiatives.

Skot consults regularly with global organizations, he is a business entrepreneur, and he rmentors other entrepreneurs in doing business from a kingdom perspective. He developed an d facilitates courses in diversity, global business, marketing strategies and entrepreneurship as a faculty member at Cornerstone University.

Scott McFarlane

Scott is the Managing Director for Compass Global (http://www.compassglobalconsulting.com) and serves customers and partners in North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to starting Compass Global, Scott served as the Asia Pacific Program Manager and ultimately as the Global Account Executive of Trax Technologies serving a Fortune 100 customer. His first initiative at Trax Technology included leading the effort to set up a regional office in Asia while serving a major client based in Singapore. Prior to working with Trax Technologies, he was involved with an IT start-up business in India and served as the Director of EC Institute, a faith-based educational not-for-profit organization. Scott lived in Hong Kong for almost 2 years before earning an MBA from Spring Arbor University.

Mr. Joe Slaughter

Mr. Joe Slaughter is President and CEO of Herff Jones Company, in Indianapolis, IN. During his more than 38 years experience with the company he has been exposed to all aspects of the organization.

Mr. Slaughter serves in various board and volunteer leadership capacities, including the board of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI and Horizon House in Indianapolis, IN. Joe has a Bachelors degree from Cornerstone University and his Masters from Michigan State University.

Joe has participated as a visiting executive on both the South Africa and China Bglobal Studies experiences.

Dr. Mark Campbell

Dr. Campbell is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Biochemistry and Art. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and a Masters in Health Care Administration from the University of Colorado in Denver. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Wayne State University, Detroit. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Memberships include Kent County Medical Society, Michigan State Medical Society and American Medical Association.

Dr. Campbell is a Board of Trustee of Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, as well as a board member of the Spectrum Health Foundation. Dr. Campbell has been a member of Cancer and Hematology Centers of Western Michigan since 1980, and serves as the corporate president. He is the executive director of the Spectrum Health Regional Cancer Network.

Dr. Jim Mannoia

Dr. Jim Mammoia was appointed as Senior Fellow at The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities. Prior to this appointment Dr. Mannoia served as president of Greenville College for 10 years until his retirement in July 2008. Previously, he was academic vice president and dean at Houghton College (NY) and associate academic dean at Westmont College (CA).

He is charged with the development of international programming, particularly the development of a grant proposal for expansion of the work of the CCCU with international institutions of Christ-centered higher education.

Dr. Mannoia has dedicated his life to the service of Christ-centered higher education and also to the work of global partnership and exchange, CCCU President Paul R. Corts said. The CCCU is thankful he has accepted this appointment and the work he will do in advancing the cause with our international partners on a global scale. As Senior Fellows he work directly with the president of the CCCU. Dr, Mannoia's background includeds living and working in higher education in South America, Europe, Africa, and the U.S. for 38 years.

Mr. Dwight Nordstrom

Dwight Nordstrom is a visionary pioneer and successful practitioner of Business as Mission. He has over 25 years experience in doing business in China. Since 1990, he has been the chairman of Pacific Resources International (PRI), a USA manufacturing-holding company with support functions of consulting and engineering for start-up and/or expansion of manufacturing and application engineering in China. PRI strongly supports doing both world-class business as well as the building of healthy local communities with good spiritual values.

Mr. Nordstrom has also been General Manager of 7 factories in China with employment ranging from 30 to over 750. He was also in the late 1980s the China Country Manager for one of GE’s divisions; this was a GE corporate hire position. Mr. Nordstrom is currently co-chairman of Sourcing Forum for American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. Mr. Nordstrom has written, on average, 1 published article per year since 1990.

Mr. Kevin Harris

Kevin is the Vice President of Tyco Electronics Asia Pacific Communications and Industrial Solutions Operations. He was most recently the global leader of Tyco Electronics 8 billion dollar Procurement operation. He is now based in Shanghai, China.

His 24 year career also includes leadership roles in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing for leading global companies IBM, Japanese Automotive firm Calsonic and Haworth incorporated. He has led the construction of supply chains, plants and operations in Asia, India and the Americas. Kevin has also established businesses in the USA.

Kevin is a native of the United States. He acquired his MBA, Engineering, Black Belt training and CQE certification in North America. Kevin has lived in China since 2004 with his wife, Adrienne, and 3 children.

Mr. Denny Cherette

In 1985, Denny founded Investment Property Associates (IPA), a full service commercial real estate development firm. In 1993, he co-founded IPA Management as a separate entity to oversee IPAs growing portfolio of properties. Together with his partners, Denny continues to advise and lead more than 100 employees of IPA and IPA Management in the day-to-day operations of the companies.

He has more than 33 years of experience in the planning, development, and management of numerous commercial real estate projects including medical facilities, professional office buildings, banks, retail centers and large-scale apartment communities.

Denny has been actively involved in the local community throughout his career. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Mercy General Health Partners, as Chairman of the Economic Development Corporation of the City of Grand Haven, as a director on the board of Community Shores Bank, as a director on the board of the Muskegon General Osteopathic Foundation, and as a director on the board of Hospice of North Ottawa Community Foundation.
